July at Tantrick - Turning 7!

As July came and went, we found ourselves reflecting on how much Tantrick has grown - not just as a brewery, but as a community hub, a place for connection, and a space for celebration. This month was packed with milestones, memories, and moments that reminded us why we started in the first place.
We kicked off the month with some fresh new features that we’re still dreaming about. That Peaches and Cream Martini? Dessert in a glass. The Pineapple Mojito? Straight-up summer vacation. And don’t even get us started on the Bourbon Peach BBQ Burger, it had no business being that good. Sweet, smoky, juicy perfection.
Downtown Allegan also kept the summer vibes strong with Fork in the Road food trucks every Monday and Rollin’ on the River live music every Friday night along the riverfront. We kept the slushies and beer flowing in the SoDi Shop and loved seeing everyone out and about each week.
Then came the July 3 Jubilee in Downtown Allegan, and oh my gosh, we had our biggest crowd ever. Allegan showed up and showed out! There’s nothing better than a warm summer night by the river, cold drinks in hand, great food, and a whole town buzzing with energy.
After that, we took a little pause for a staff revitalization day at the lake, because this team has been crushing it nonstop. A day of sunshine, floating, snacks, and laughs, it was the kind of reset that reminds you how lucky you are to work with people who feel like family.
And THEN... we turned SEVEN. Yep - Tantrick is officially a beer-loving second grader. Our birthday bash was one for the books. We brought out Gerald’s 7th Birthday Cake (a Strawberry Shortcake White Stout that was seriously next-level), and had a Production Tour to show our latest set up of where the magic happens! We had games - we hosted the first-ever Fourplay Invitational - darts, cornhole, disc golf, and stein holding. It got real. We even had a blind tasting challenge, and yes, our brewmaster Patrick participated. Did he get them all right? Absolutely not. He got 2 out of 4. But he tried, and that’s what matters.
We also had live music with Full Cord on the Riverfront, a Bloody Mary Bar, Green and Blue Slushies in the SoDi Shop and probably the most-loved part of the day: the Strawberry Shortcake Bar. Y’all destroyed it, in the best way.
All in all, July was a whirlwind of community, celebration, and reflection of how far Tantrick has come. Thank you to every single one of you who’s made Tantrick what it is. We truly wouldn’t be here without you.
Here’s to year eight - let’s make it even weirder, wilder, and more wonderful. 🍻
